Katrina is an expert in Sustainable Chemistry, Restricted Substances, Product Safety Legislation, Test Methods, Specifications, Leather, Textiles, Footwear, RSLs and MRSLs.
Katrina started her career in the SLHT industry as an analytical chemist, conducting chemical testing and analysis. She developed a sound understanding of chemicals, testing methods, and RSLs, gaining knowledge of hazardous chemistry risks in different material types and chemical limits within global legislation.
In her more recent roles as Chemical and Regulatory Support and Sustainable Chemistry Technical Lead, she has further enhanced her knowledge of RSLs and legislation, informing clients on regulations, due diligence strategies and chemical management systems, and advising them on suitable action to mitigate risk. She also works with clients to support them with corrective action, root cause analysis and implementation of testing plans.
Katrina is also an auditor for Chem-MAP, Eurofins BLC鈥檚 programme for ZDHC certification, and conducts CrVI.听
