Lauren is currently the Director of Safety & Compliance at BDA, a promotional merchandise agency. Lauren executes global product safety for a vast array of products from branded merchandise to high end collectibles, and QSR toys/giveaways.
Lauren has been working in the product safety industry for 13+ years. She started her career at Intertek, where she spent numerous years helping clients understand regulations, potential safety hazards, and foreseeable uses associated with their products and providing relevant mitigation strategies.
Lauren also developed and lead safety programs for various clients ranging from QSRs to toys and children鈥檚 products.听 She holds a master鈥檚 degree in child development which she uses to identify how products will foreseeably be used based on developmental skills and abilities.
