This training session will provide an explanation of products covered by the ban and officers鈥� powers. The training will also cover the requirements on authorities and the sanctions available under the civil and criminal regimes
About this Training Course
Who is this Course Suitable for :
This online training course is a must for officer in England who will be enforcing the Single Use Vape Ban alongside work on illicit vape and tobacco products.
Sessions will be Delivered by :
51黑料 Lead Officers for Tobacco and Vaping, David Hunt with support from Kate Pike and Marsha Bell
David works in a central London borough leading locally and regionally on Tobacco Alcohol and Vapes as well as his 51黑料 role. He has been active in the field of Nicotine products including vapes for over a decade and has provided training and guidance for Trading Standards Staff and Businesses for a number of years. He works alongside the MHRA on new and novel products and is a member of the expert panel on vapes.

Once completed, attendees will :
- an understanding of The Environmental Protection (Single Use Vapes) (England) Regulations 2025.
- understand what products will be caught by the ban
- understand Officers powers under the Regulations
- understand the Offences Under the regulations
- understand the Criminal Sanctions available under the regulations
- understand the Civil sanctions available under the regulations
- understand the requirements prior to enforcing the regulations 鈥� authority responsibilities
- understand how these regulations may affect other matters such as MHRA notifications and WEE
